Our first focus group was a group of year 11 set 1 girls who all fell into our age brakcet
The Focus group gave us some excellent feedback as they got involved well and we also got some great information from these students
These firstly are the Good rated questionnaires in which they liked our ideas and said that this would work well with our genre and would fit well with the people we are aiming at. The all liked the idea that the music video was going to reflect the lyrics of the song and they felt it worked well as this is a good idea and it would work. They also really liked the idea that it was going to be in a natural environment. They did highlight though that they did not like our idea that they should not be looking for treasure ,instead he is looking for some good memories or somebody which we agree will work well.
These are the more controversial questionnaires which were sceptical of our ideas. They felt the treasure idea was very bad and that it would not work and they think the same as above! They also feel that the guy should be chased by somebody or a 'mythical creature' one wrote and that he runs out of breath and has to face him. They also felt it may not fit together well as it is a little mixed
we have listened to these questionnaires and will take these into consideration when thinking more in depth into what our story will be as it is very cloudy at the moment as we wanted opinions before it went anymore in depth.
